The NRA (with its 4.5 Million members) represents the huge portion of millions of "VOTING" gun owners...Don't believe it?...Ask former President Bill Clinton.

Every day that left wing, gun hating, bomb throwers like Piers Morgan and others are the face of the anti-Second Amendment movement is a great day for gun owners..

"All the gun nut sources need to be extinguished: automatic weapons, gun violent video games and gun violent movies."

Automatic weapons (as opposed to semi-automatic) have been highly restricted for decades.

By the way, with approx. 300 million firearms in the private hands of "gun nuts" in this country, how in the world can it be that so many firearms are handled every day by so many people so safely?

I mean, just look at the carnage which occurs on a daily basis every time a bunch of gun nuts get together...at the gun club, at the firing range, you name it. As everyone knows, there's a mass shooting every day at a pistol range someplace in this country. Might as well be the O.K. Corral.

"... the practical problem of assuring that trustworthy people will show up and that replacements are ready when they are sick, on vacation, etc."

Perhaps the school districts which have had armed officers on site for years, if not decades, could provide some input on how to manage this "practical problem."

Compliments to the "clean-up" artist/author of the well written statement of Paragould Police Chief Todd Stovall's recent (foot-in-the-mouth) over kill description of his new policing plan..

Now, if Paragould can just keep Todd on track, maybe they can calm the ALCU, reassure those nervous potential industrial recruits and the real estate market...Then...ask the city council and Mayor Gaskill to hire a "REAL" law enforcement officer to do the job..God and the entire country knows, you need one.

The idea of putting volunteer armed guards in schools is absurd. School Resource Officers are fine. Pay them a fair wage and create a positive school atmosphere and make schools a bit safer. A marked car in the front of the school is a great first step.

Also, just remember these psychos are just looking for a soft target. If you rope this one off, they will go somewhere else.

How many civilians really need an assault weapon?

Well, at least he acknowledges the 4th amendment exists. Be nice if he would have been a little quicker on the draw when it came to our constitution and laws that he is sworn to uphold. Gee, maybe he will do an about face and try to get the national arm wrestling tournament in Paraoguld. Got to help out the tourism. Somebody needs to find something for this guy to do. How about inputting outstanding warrants in the computer for Phillips county?
