Automatic weapons (as opposed to semi-automatic) have been highly restricted for decades.

By the way, with approx. 300 million firearms in the private hands of "gun nuts" in this country, how in the world can it be that so many firearms are handled every day by so many people so safely?

I mean, just look at the carnage which occurs on a daily basis every time a bunch of gun nuts get together...at the gun club, at the firing range, you name it. As everyone knows, there's a mass shooting every day at a pistol range someplace in this country. Might as well be the O.K. Corral.

Perhaps the school districts which have had armed officers on site for years, if not decades, could provide some input on how to manage this "practical problem."

Now, if Paragould can just keep Todd on track, maybe they can calm the ALCU, reassure those nervous potential industrial recruits and the real estate market...Then...ask the city council and Mayor Gaskill to hire a "REAL" law enforcement officer to do the job..God and the entire country knows, you need one.
