Dimmy is proving, by his own words, to be as dim as his name. You file a bill because someone, once upon a time, mentioned it? Well, Dimwit, I am mentioning that all Tea Party idiots should only be able to move around the capitol by walking on their hands. Looking forward to the December 26th ADG to see this bill introduced.

olddoc.....both! Oh me.....I really wish everyone of you could meet Dimmy. He displays a lot of the signs mass murders go thru before they show up and open fire. Dimmy likes trench coats and in cold weather is hard to tell from the old Spy vs Spy cartoon in Mad magazine. He's got those beaten puppy eyes like we saw so often in the faces George W. Bush and Mitt Romney.

His family had been in the trash business as long as I can remember, so no wonder he's not the brightest bulb in the pack. He looks like someone's after him all the time so no wonder he's so preoccupied with our invisible god who lives on the Planet Kolob. I guess he thinks if he can't come up with a single piece of good legislation helpful to Arkansas, he'll just keep filing this Jesus stuff in hopes of showing the folks back home he's earning his paycheck. Him and old Glidewell filed lots of unconstitutional bills back when Dimmy was working with one of our former Republican mayors on a plan to "ship them all back to Africa."

Dimmy goes from one term-limited position to another because Fort Baptist voters are too busy with making money to ever vote well informed. And no doubt now that we have a Republican controlled state legislature, the next 2 years are going to be dreadfully embarrassing as other Dimmy Alteses take their place on the state stage making Arkansas the Dimmy State and the laughingstock of the nation. What can I do? I voted correctly for the last 20 years, but the numbnuts keeping winning. Are we the Naturally Stupid State or what?

One of our nuttier wingnut representatives from Rogers, Debra Hobbs, is mentioned as the catalyst for the bill by Altes. It's believable that it would be her creation. What, you have never heard of her. She's just getting ready to start her second term. Thankfully, last term she was pretty well unheard of. Looks like this time around we won't be so lucky.

This is an example of how nutty rwingers easily go 'round the bend and start working, unwittingly, for progressive causes. Imagine if the medical mj initiative had gotten a couple more percent of the votes. Under Denny's crackpot law, DEA narco squads would find it difficult to bust Granny for having medicine for her cancer pain.

I'm curious about the length of the story. It's more than a little repetitive. Does excessive length imply significance or an agenda? Surely the ADG wasn't trying to rally support. Was the point to let Altes embarrass himself over and over, or is none left to do any real editing over there anymore?

Tl;dr -- For no particular reason, legislative doofus refiles unconsitutional bill that has never gotten off the ground previously. His only defense is that he oftens files bills for no reason.

Read the article about sheriff's permission being needed. It borders on farce. It's so important he can't remember who asked for it to be submitted. I haven't read the bill, but the ADG says the feds can be prosecuted. Under a federal removal statute, 28 U.S.C. § 1442, the alleged crime would be removed to federal court for trial. That would be fun to watch. Like a train wreck.
