The House critters are center stage now. The deal passed the Senate with 8 or 9 no votes. Socialist Bernie Sanders of VT was a yes. SS and Medicare were not touched. Unemployment insurance will be extended a year. Millionaire's and billionaire's taxes are going up.

And best of all, the 112th do nothing Congress is almost over!

One wonders if the U.S. Voters will ever forget the success of the GOP at pushing to the crumbling edge of the precipice and perhaps over the fiscal abyss for an ephemeral illusion of political success . . . for auld lang syne . . .

Throw these D vs R's into the sea... make them all walk the aristocratic plank on live television. They all deserve yet another F! Can't this country just insist upon one party worthy of a D-?

Can't we just have health care as a human right?
Can't we just stop blowing up more nations then we can count for no reason whatsoever?
Can't we just F'n bury our electric and internet lines?
And perhaps just not imprison more of our brethren than anywhere else in the world?

Maybe we should pass a law, the poorest among us get twice the amount any bankster, insurance/derivative, bond shark or war profiteer ever does.

Maybe it's time to put the Brantley's in the oval... let's have peppermint ice cream wars until the next millennium!
Happy new years everyone...)

Apparently President Obama hurt some repub feefees and some of them may not vote for the deal because of it. He poked a little fun at them. Shades of Gingrich's tantrum when he didn't get a ride on Airforce One! Such delicate hot house flowers should not be in the rough and tumble business of politics. Maybe when their terms are up and they stand for re-election, we can find them more genteel employment---maybe killing chickens for Tyson or working in the cold and rain to get the electricity up and running.
