Tens of millions of other men have this problem too. I think the scientific name for it is AIN'T GETTIN NONE AT HOME. I love women in their 50s but those Viagra commercials lie like a dog in showing a slinky women in her 50s (always played by an actress in her 30s) just biding her time until her husband gives her the sex look. By golly she'll run out of that New England antiques shop shedding her clothes along the way if her man just gives her a sexy look. Of course this same totally fictional couple winds up naked in his & her bathtubs enjoying the sun going down over San Francisco bay or somewhere like that. Happens at my house all the time don't you know.

We should face this problem. This problem of lumpy old men who are unable to turn off their sex urges though ain't no person on earth wants to see them naked and heading their way. It's not the world's greatest problem, but probably the most common problem on earth. Us men don't get the menopause thing....our motor is always humming away like a taxi on a deserted street.

It's not the fault of women, it's the fault of nature which apparently 10 million years ago decided in order to populate the world men must be horny until the casket lid drops. It's a curse. As I'm sure it was a curse for the little wifey the first time a 70 year old man arrived home from the doctor's office with his pockets full of Viagra samples. No doubt set the old girl a-moaning...but not in the good way.

I'm sorry this guy from Fort Baptist will forever be marked...at his funeral people will be tittering about that time when he was caught in a motel room looking for a good time. I feel sorry for all the old retired guys who get caught in local parks with their weenies wagging......

mag and her brother talk nearly every night via IM's and the other night they got into a discussion that I was pulled into. mag and her brother are 4 and 7 years younger than I am so they often turn to me to help them remember something they were a tad too young to fully remember.

So her brother started asking about an old public service announcement that used to run in the late 60s & early 70s warning kids about blasting caps. After prime time and on Saturday morningsthat commercial ran all the time for a number of years. It started out with some grade school aged kids walking along having fun until one of the boys bends down and picks up a little shiny thing which they all start to inspect. Fortunately the commercial wasn't written or directed by Clinton Tarantino, it didn't show a kid with smoking bloody stumps after a blasting cap blew them off. I worried about them damn blasting caps for years though I've still never seen such a thing. And since building things is stalled by our bad economy, I doubt I ever will. But thanks to that commercial that ran millions of times all over the country....I still keep an eye out for blasting caps!

Now....the reason the subject was brought up.....us 3 could never ever remember seeing a commercial on TV warning kids about GUNS. Have any of you ever seen such a commercial? I'm thinking the NRA probably stopped any gun warning commercial before it got off the drafting table. I bet the makers of blasting caps must feel pretty stupid and powerless and the sting of lost profits since for years kids were warned IF YOU SEE A BLASTING CAP, DON'T PICK IT UP!!!!!!!!

My father knew all about blasting caps because he had a license to handle explosives due to the nature of his work. But I don't know anyone who has ever found a blasting cap, I don't know anyone who has been injured or killed by a blasting cap but I know a goodly number of people who have been injured or killed by a GUN. So why not PSAs warning kids IF YOU SEE A GUN, DON'T PICK IT UP!!!! Run like hell! Call 911! Stand in the street and scream till your throat bleeds! Drop to yer knees and pray pray pray!

Zip....nada......nothing, that's what I remember about gun warnings to little kids, our precious precious little children....NOTHING. And I don't think it's an accident, asshats like Wayne LaPierre and Mike Huckabee want your kids to find guns, more importantly they want YOU to buy your kids guns, lots and lots of guns, Wal-Mart wants this too, Low Safety, Always says the ghost of old dead Sam Walton.

This is reason #4835 that Americans shouldn't point their finger, Asa! style, at Iran and say they're nuts. We crazy too. Now for the love of all things holy.....watch out for blasting caps today....one of them might go off and scratch your gun!

Plus, the favorite target of the gun show customer base is not someone else with a gun. It's far better to unload 30 rounds into a crowd with a liberal congresswoman, or a first grade classroom. Maybe a couple of cops, if you can catch them by surprise.

But the target is never another middle-aged white guy with a persecution complex and a twisted idea of freedom; Hell, you might get shot back. And no f***ing coward with an AK likes that.

Not according to the same Frontline show. She began beating her breast about her accomplishments as a teacher. Then someone went back and checked on her bragging. She had nothing but modest increases in student achievement.

Fortunately that one little Hitler is gone from public education.

As previously mentioned Walmart could do much to improve education by paying the rank n' file a living wage with decent benefits. Making employees work while they're infected with the flu keeps me away from their places during flu season.

Drugs bad. Weapons good.

Only not so much anymore, huh?

Drugs may not necessarily be good, but marijuana anyway is not longer bad, and that's been the center of focus for way too long because marijuana is the drug of choice for more people than the other drug demons. (well, alcohol, but shhhhhh, don't tell your friends it's a drug, because, well, they don't want to acknowledge that alcohol might actually be worse than pot from a medical standpoint.)

Not only is the demon weed being taken away from the 'good' guys as a sure thing for weapons procurement, now the masses no longer buying into 'drugs bad,' they are actually beginning to recognize that the real issue is weapons.

It's a double whammy for the profiteers of violence.

Maybe Wal Mart should get into the marijuana trade?

She comes off as a tad full of herself---never a good sign. Many, if not most, people in power are full of themselves. The really smart ones don't make it so obvious.

She allowed the Frontline team to record her firing a principal. I'll leave it to you to decide what that says about her character.
