That in the last 7 years, McClellan has had 5 building principals. Apparently, all were removed at the whim of "central office" downtown.
2. That McClellan staff and students feel they cannot make headway as long as "central office" uses McClellan as a revolving door for building principals. That every year or so, they are forced to readjust to new management approaches with each new round of principals, which, along with everything else, does not allow staff and students continuity in learning and teaching, discipline, various building proceedures, and raising their test scores.

It is a shame that LRSD has apparently turned its back upon a school that is located in a poorer area of town. SHAME on LRSD for this behavior. Clearly it's easy to not take care of schools, students, and teachers in forgotten neighborhoods.

Morris Holmes should resign immediately. If we as citizens want to improve LRSD, the board should start cutting personnel at the top, remove 60% of central office personnel with $100,000-$250,000 salaries, and create a leaner school district. It's time.

The only thing funnier than sitting through a LR public school parents' meeting is sitting through a WLR private school parents' meeting afterward.

The fact is the LRSD is loaded with poor administrators especially in the VP positions and Holmes has done nothing about it as he should.

The LRSD is busting from the seams with favoritism and nepotism based on social connections. Maybe Myton doesn’t frequent the right social circles. Too bad a state can’t take over a school district just for being dysfunctional.
