This is the basic problem with Republicans. They still have not learned that government IS NOT a business, nor should it be. The role of business is to make money; the role of government is to take care of its citizens.

I thought that Carter was supposed to be intelligent. He was a president of a bank although the VP at a bank is the level above window clerk. Is president the one above that? Hopefully. he wasn't the one doing their books or we may have federal investigators coming. Weren't the REPUIBLICANS supposed to be the "BUSINESS"people. They are acting more like the local custodian and may be up for Land Commisionner in 2014.

His own prediction is no better than mine. Why doesn't these pseudo policy wonks believe the professionals whose job is to know and predict these things? For the same reason they doubt global warming is occuring...because they are idiots.

He said that we have to do all we can to fix our current medicaid growth rate, yet not once did he mention the work that DHS and others are doing on the Arkansas Payment Improvement Initiative to get away from fee-for service and curb current Medicaid cost growth, which is well underway and will save hundreds of millions by the time Arkansas would owe the full 10% rate on the expansion population.
