It is a smoker bar so I don't go in there.

Was it Old Hickorys before? Or was that elsewhere?

Across from Watergate is a bank, bathroom design shop and Purple Cow.

I'm 53 but don't have any memories of what was there before. Obviously bank and Purple Cow are recent but I still can't picture before that.

Someone help an old guy out here.

I once saw these 2 old ladies in the Camelot Hotel one morning, handling registration for some conference. They had raspy voices and seemed out of place, yet I knew them. Then I asked one of them where I knew her from.....she was one of the waitresses at Pecks! It was like seeing your 3rd grade teacher at the grocery store--they werent supposed to exist outside their assigned realm.

Now Mr. elWood, please get out a map of Arkansas and take a red pen and mark the present locations of the highway commissioners and after marking the red spots identifying Rogers, Little Rock, N. Little Rock, Armorel, and El Dorado, see if you can see that big gaping hole in Arkansas that contains no residences of any member of the Highway Commission.
