Once again ladies and germs, someone please explain how requiring photo identification to vote will "make it harder for older black people" to vote. Senator King's bill, with minor tweaks, is what Arkansas needs to get away from the current impractal voter ID law. In talking to my wife (a special deputy county clerk for early voting), I expressed a concern about "older voters" and thought the bill should exempt anyone over 65 or accept social security documents in lieu of photo ID. She replied older voters are not the problem they all have ID (i.e., early voting in our county traditionally has a large black voter turn-out), it is the young voters (white and black) wanting to create a scene or issue over having to identify themselves.

Obama is just smarter about how much daylight his wars get. He doesn't foolishly make a big bother about it and commit a lot of ground troops. But make no mistake, he's spending trillions of dollars and is killing thousands of innocent people.

http://www.thenation.com/blog/obamas-expan…

And just forget about that surprise he and Republicans cooked up at the beginning of the year that raised taxes on 77% of us while protecting tax subsidies and gigantic contracts for mega corps, many of which are selling weapons of war to the government at inflated prices.

Obama is just a socially liberal Dubya.

The only reason the GOP controls the US House of Representatives is gerrymandering. They lost the popular vote there, too. Any time those representatives talk about the "will of the people" their noses ought to grow longer.

The people have spoken, and they have spoken against the Tea Party. I am happy to see it disappear into history, for I am ready to see our economy grow instead of watching the government do nothing except give the rich more money and make war.

The interestingthing about cages is that those on the outside are also caged from getting at whatever is inside. Fortunately, the GOTP voters are dying off at 7,000 a day and the new voter rolls are growing by an even larger number. Make it too hard to vote and all of the GOTP members in assisted living and living by themselves also will find it hard to vote while you encourage those you intend to disinfranchise to make the special effort to get out to vote and bring their friends.

The GOTP-always using government to solve a problem that doesn't exist while bitching about how government works. King still can't find a single case of voter fraud. There was election fraud and his plans don't fix that because that is how the GOTP wins elections besides fixing the voting machines.
