Deathbyinches said, "An unwanted child born to a mother unable to take care of herself is worse than an abortion. An abortion is humane, a 70 year long life of misery is the opposite. Visit Tucker Prison to get an idea of what happens to unwanted children who manage to grow up."
WHAT ARE YOU SAYING WHEN YOU ALLOW PEOPLE TO CUT THE LIFE SHORT ON THEIR UNBORN BABIES BUT YOU PUNISH THOSE WHO ARE GUILTY OF CHILD ABUSE? Righter, says we should be able to have abortions anytime during the pregnancy. When do you think the unborn child should be protected, Deathbyinches? 3rd month, 6th month?

WHAT IN FACT HAS HAPPENED SINCE JAN 22, 1973 IS A TREMENDOUS INCREASE IN CHILD ABUSE!!!

In 1972 there were 60,000 reported child-abuse incidents in the U.S. In
1976, the number had soared to over 500,000! Child Abuse is now the fifth most frequent cause of death among children. (Francis Shaeffer and Dr. C. Everett Koop, “Whatever Happened to the Human Race?”, Crossway Books, Westchester, IL.)

Dr. C. Everett Koop made this comment below in 1979:

There are those who try and justify abortions by saying that abortions get rid of unwanted children and therefore will cut down on child abuse, but consider this, since 1973 there have been 6 million abortions in the USA and there are therefore 6 million fewer children than there would have been without the liberal abortion ruling and yet child abuse has increased in incidents year by year from that date.

If you want to see the video where Dr. Koop made this statement then here is the link and go to the 32 minute mark.
What's clear is there is/will be no reason, no debate and no insistence the State stop killing, much less disarm as well as the people... by either major party or their blind faith terribly violent squadrons.

And that is why I stand with what the so-called "nuts" by the other nuts... the people must remain armed if they so want. This is no way, no time to reduce the ever waning liberties we the people supposedly have... certainly not in the way the neoliberals suggest.

If you all want to be reduced to Palestinians with nothing but stones while the gov't around you can will and already does constantly vaporize, occupy, terrorize many nations of innocent people all around the world... then by all means do it.... just don't expect everyone else to fall for it.

We are escalating wars and drone operations as your D president lies to you about reducing them. (Mali)

First this country needs an unapologetic left of at least 25 percent at the ballot box who has one tiny holistic (as in all encompassing non-violent policy) shred of non-violent credibility. Right now this nation doesn't have three percent who qualify. And we know the gov't we have would rather peeper spray, shoot, imprison and deem those fe as terrorists. The so-called Left cheering a bloody non-stop murderers inauguration yesterday was more than anyone need to know about how lawless and violent our entire society is. No time for the citizens to lay down their arms.

Where are all the women who have had abortions and now regret their decision? Why are they not telling all the rest of us about their regrets and defending their insistence that abortion once again become illegal?

And yes. I get to ask. It was my decision to have a baby when I got pregnant at 17. It was not convenient and altered my life in all kinds of ways. But it was my choice. I was able to make that choice because I had a support system in place.

The best way to fight against abortion is to work for a universal support system and make sure that affordable and reliable birth control is available.

Otherwise you're just trying to keep women in their place.

If the right wanted to reduce abortions, they could do so immediately by 30% or more simply by getting behind universal health care.

When we care about the life of a baby after she or he is born as much as we do before they're born, then I will no longer have cause to say that abortion is purely a political issue.

Instead, the NRA is intent on making it a crime for a pediatrician to discuss how having a gun in your home increases the odds of your child dying.

Instead, the AMA is intent on making sure that the amount of care given a child reflects the amount of profit that can be extracted from the parents.

Instead, fundamentalist Christians are intent on making sure that a baby born out of wedlock serves as a good stiff financial punishment for the mother.
