Lord Jaysus. Hope you had appropriate shoes. DC sidewalks are made of super, duper, industrial-strength concrete, the hardest on a body’s feet that can be found anywhere. They hafta build ‘em that way to hold up under the city’s incredibly-heavy pedestrian traffic.
