Hagel will be a great choice. We have been too long in the pocket of the US lobby for Isreal with their big pocketbook. Isreal, believe it or not, isn't always right and they will never be at peace until they get off their "war with the Palestinians mode" and start talking. Isreal has a right to their position but the people who were displaced also have a right to be compensated. I suggest we offer the Palestians part of Utah since they they should feel right at home with nasty neighbors, desert, lack of water, and towns built in all of the best locations-just like Isreal is doing to them in their own homeland. OLtherwise, Isreal will have an Arab population larger than their Jewish population at teh rate things are going in the next 15 years. And teh Arabs who live in Isreal can vote in their elections.

Sort of what the GOTP is going through with their anti-Hispanic rhetoric! In 20 years, Texas will be Democratic.

I saw an ad pleading me to call Pryor to tell him to vote against Hagel, which I thought was odd.

Then.

I saw an advertisement talking up Northrup Gruman.

They seemed to be selling jet fighters. It suprised me that the market for jet fighters in Little Rock was of sufficient size to justify fancy BROADCAST commercials.

Wouldn't the 10 grand for a TV ad be more effective just stuffing it in the pocket of a politician than blowing it on a TV ad that the politician might miss seeing?

Thank goodness someone is spending some money advertising in Arkansas. Mark Pryor will probably take this as an achievement - that is, bringing private sector money to Arkansas media companies. Mark Pryor should stay undecided so that they will have to keep running the ads. Bring home the bacon Senator Pryor.
