The NRA has blood on their hands and so do the wimps in Congress who take their money and do their bidding. How can they sleep at night? Do they not ever think of those 20 precious children and all the others who died because they do not have guts enough to support gun control? If they want an assault weapon, sign them up and send them to defend this country instead of filling their pockets with lobbyist's money.

The Democrats should introduce a bill to allow all sorts of guns in the U S House and Senate gallaries and remove all metal detectors so the Republicans can feel really safe with all the guns around. They can especially encourage large magazines and large bore guns. We certainly would expect full NRA support for this full appreciation of the part of the second Amendment that they admit exists (since they never read the first part about being "well regulated").

Al Franken is probably looking at a fairly close reelection, too. He pretty much tied his Republican opponent in 08 and isn't going to have the anti-Bush vote in 14.

Political survival instincts are kicking in.

I had to show my AK this morning on the way to work to a stupid driver wanting to get past me as we went down to a single lane. Had I not had Old Coondancer close at hand, the odds of a wreck would probably have doubled.

I had to be early to consult with a lawyer about the unconstitutional ban on weapons at our desks at work. It is a goddamn shame when a man cannot protect himself from the daily threat of terrorists, armed robbers, or psychotic killers. My rights to defend myself trump my bosses silly concerns about customers -- and I think sales would actually increase if our clients knew all of us were cocked and locked. They feel safer, you know.

As a pro-life Christian, please join me in praying for more guns.
