One more thing: We need a fuse to set the whole thing off. This was originally intended as an insult to the Pope but most Christians aren't going to know this.

We make up a bunch of hand-written notes reading "YO' MAMA IS THE WHORE OF BABYLON!!" and sign it, The Baptists or whatever. We take these notes around one night and nail it to the front door of all the churches. Step back and see what happens.

We kid about praise the Lord and pass the ammunition. It could get real. Say you're in church and have no money to put in the collection plate, you could donate ammunition for the church arsenal. Shotgun shells and your larger caliber cartridges would fill up a plate pretty fast, but Christians are adaptable, so buckets could be used.

Sounds a little far-fetched but if you look back in history, it's more the norm. Christians vs Muslims, Protestants vs Catholics and prior to the Civil War here, the Mormons and Christians had a little shooting war just up in Missouri. The Mormons eventually moved on out to Utah where the native Indians proved to be more tolerant.

Christians bicker among themselves all the time anyway. No Baptist congregation stays intact for long, always breaking off and forming new churches. I think that, we, of the unchurched should encourage all this guns in church idea. Maybe get an armaments race going on. Wouldn't be long before a spark could set the whole thing off, something along the lines of sprinkling vs submerging, predestination vs free will determination, once saved, always saved vs whatever you call the opposite. Your doctrine vs mine. The One True Religion vs you other assholes. Once properly armed up and a shot or two fired, a chain reaction would surely ensue and they'd blow each other away.

As long as we, the infidels, stayed out of the way for a while, the meek (us) would finally inherit the earth as Jesus predicted. There'd still be a few Quakers, Mennonites and 7th Day Adventists around but we could live with them because we're, you know, tolerant.

Hey mountaingirl, maybe someone could add choral parts to the 1812 Overture and also congregational participation. At the point where the cannons boom, (they would have to bring blanks on this particular Sunday) let the permitted ones glory in the noise they create as part of the music. of course, we would have to make sure they were trained in unison trigger pulls in order to stay true to the piece.

Well, guess it's time for a plan to install the latest defensive technology in all churches. For churches with very, very high ceilings miniature drones at all entrances and exits. the number allowed would depend on the square footage of the sanctuary (sanctuary, now there's an interesting word). It would be imprudent for those churches with signs outside to recruit evil doers " Come on to our church, to our church, and we'll martyr you beyond your wildest dreams" (I must give credit where credit is due, the last sentence was borrowed and twisted beyond recognition from Come ona My House. I have heard of some churches banding together to wire the pews to become high powered magnets. No churches have yet to offer a special concoction during communion that once consumed, would disable the bad person(evil doer).

One of the most overt components of Arkansas's culture is the frequent application of a "poor, banjo-playing hillbilly" reputation to the state and her citizens. Arkansans have developed " a mass inferiority complex unique in American history" regarding their state's enduring image-Wikipedia. Instead of "The Natural State" we can put "Make fun of us now Motherfuckers" on our license plates.

mg, I bet the preachers will learn to actually have a sermon and to end up on time if they otherwise couldn't depend on making it to their own lunch at all, evermore!

Just like the deer hunters don't expect to get shot but they do anyway by accident, I don't see any good out of the law but a few accidental shooting a year, hopefully in one of the mega-churches that can afford to lose a member or two without hurting the plate.

Amend the law to say that if a shooting occurs in a place clearly labelled as "no guns allowed", by accident or on purpose, no matter whether someone is injured or killed or not, the penalty is life imprisonment without parole at Cummins.

Significant, complex issues facing the state, and the idiot from Green Forest, Bryan King, files bills to require voter ID and allow guns in churches. Good God Almighty, Green Forest, is he the best you can do? Have you tested your water? Are your churches dangerous places? If I were in your shoes, I'd be profoundly embarrassed, much like I feel about being represented by Tim Griffin.

Unless our state's lone abortion doctor goes to your church you don't ever have to worry someone will kick open the door and spray the sheeple with armor-piercing bullets.

But I wonder...if this bill passes does a sheep still have to pay sales tax on any high powered weapons they buy to take to church on Sunday? If a gun show dealer can prove he only sells guns to Christians can he skip having to send a check to the DFA? Glocks For Jesus!

Because the Good Book says “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” it is possible that passage of Gun Worship Act will finally allow firearms in hospital & prison sanctuaries and the legislature.
