I just moved here from Durham, NC. You ever wonder why they put the RTP right in the middle of Duke, UNC, and NC State? Ever heard of IBM, Cisco, Red Hat, etc? The RTP alone employs over 40,000 highly trained professionals.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to take notes.

This whole project stinks from the concept through all the high-priced consultants they have hired. The City of Little Rock, if they want to dump more money in it, should start with that $300,00 they gift the Chamber with every year for some imagined services that the state provides for free.

The Village Shopping Center site (3901 S. University Ave.), on the southeast quadrant of the 4Corners intersection of Colonel Glen & University Avenue, is literally across the street from UALR. Perhaps the consultant would care to elaborate on why the proximity criteria were not met (or were not the most important).

It is a chamber boondoggle to put the Tech Park so far from the two universities.  If they do put it downtown it will fail due to it being too far to for the researchers, scientist and inventors to easily access it, just as Dilks predicted!
