If Jesus had been armed, He would have avoided being crucified and had time to spread the gospel across the world. All nations would now acknowledge Christianity as the One True Religion.

To argue against guns in church is to argue against morality itself. We have lost our sense of right and wrong, of good and evil. Carrying guns into church gets us back to the old time religion, when men were men, women had babies, children were quiet if they knew what was good for them, and races did not mingle.

Good work, AR legi. Thank you! Even a broken clock is right twice a day... The right to have guns in church does not mean a church has to have them, much less allow it. I wonder how many of those Unitarians in KY last year wish they had a gun totin' parishioner or two in church on that horrific day? Or at least a question mark in that shooters mind that their might be a gun pointing back at him.

As for the AR gun permit data base... If the State is going to maintain the data base with tax payer money, for taxpayers benefit... then it should be entirely open and available to the public, online, free of charge ta boot. We already paid for it! I think the NRA should lobby against the database entirely myself. It's not a right, if the government can and will use it against you.

O was pretty well spot on when he said some folks, mainly red state idjits cling to their guns and stupidity. Like DBI, I also refrain from attending so will not have to duck when the shooting starts. But the way its going now, your ass is grass pretty much anywhere you go in public. Especially with all the Plaxico Burress impersonators walking around with one up the tube and hammer cocked. According to Slate there has been 1,317 gun deaths since Sandy Hook School.

No....I'm not packing for the same reason I didn't jack up the back end of my car, grow sideburns down to the middle of my neck or buy a leisure suit back in the 70s...I got more sense than that.

Since I don't go to church I don't give a damn if everyone in the pews has a grenade launcher....go see Jesus quicker I say. A tip for your fundies, baptismal font in yer church will hold a heap of dead bodies....don't know what you sprinklers will do when the bullets start flying.

It would appear Fireball is smooching on that rabid texting old girlfriend of Houston Nutt. She always goes for either Mucho Macho or Mucho Money but none of them last very long. Fireball has no use for laws, just hats to cover his bald head. I guess if your gun is big enough people won't notice you got no hair or brains.

There's no way to defend a law that defines pacifist theology as the state religion and inserts it into the concealed carry law. No freaking way. That's why only 4 idiots voted against this bill, which keeps church carry illegal unless the church really wants to allow it.

What a plan to cut church attendance. I thought these people were all over being super "christian" but obviously they aren't since to stop a shoot-out in a church where everyone is supposed to be ready to go to heaven is interferring with God's plan. Just who do these losers think they are messing with?

Now do the people of the state a favor and lift the restriction on guns, concealed or open, in the House and Senate galleries. Or are you more importasnt than my family in church?
