LibRep, the taxe money certainly DOESN't come from the corporations who pay less in taxes than they have ever paid. Corporate socialism comes from the income taxes that you and I pay. At one time you could have used that argument but corporate and busienss taxes have been reduced to less than 10% of taxes raised by the use of high priced lobbiests who have earned every penny they are paid. The bulk of taxes at the state and federal level are paid for by individual taxpayers.

ES-I guess you would have the governor tell them to take the job to Mississippi with their pro-business, pro-casino climate. Let's try to stay one position above Mississippi and just below Guam!

How about an Inspector General at the state level who examines each of these business deals? That would be responsible government tyhat Reps should buy into but won't I think we had one and when he showed the state lost money on the first one that was examined, the legislature, of course, eliminated the position.

Lib Rep.. take some time to read items such as this and you will learn money at the fed level (and private banking) doesn't come from where you think it does.

And couldn't be better could learn much about money creation too. As well as the fact neoliberal Democrats are all-in on corporate wealthfare. After all it's a D governor leading the way here?

Where do those of you who deride corporate socialism think the money for social programs come from? Of course you think taxing the rich-code for anyone who excels beyond you-is the panacea for the nations problems. I say give all the money we can to companies who will locate here, expand the labor force!

"Corporate socialism" is okay. "Socialism" to help people in actual need is not okay because the 9th Beatitude does say, "Blessed are the corporations for they shalt screw the people", the Republican and Chamber creeds (actually they are one in the same, like FAUX News and the Republican propaganda machine).

Make sure the bill has a "claw back" provision if they don't meet the hiring, payroll, time limits, etc.
