That's easy for you to say. But you have to realize that those of us not linked directly to all eleven dimensions can't directly discern ultimate reality. Perhaps a mind-meld might work or matching pharmaceutical mind-enhancement. Give us your recipe so that a dialogue might ensue.

See Ark Headlines, Super Project, but the essence is contextual to all policy that is crafted that passes through government. In a rush job, the integrity of the governing policy framework is put at risks for few can comprehend the nature of the growing book of laws. Dare say even a child who played on Jimmy Moses's baseball team. The lobbyists are deployed as the money moves the space inside the "Ark" and so the average worker (which all of us really are) may suffer because his/her Garden, (make our GARDEN capitalized) suffers. The wasted heat, energy, oil, radiation works at destroying our atmosphere, as it shifts. The general as well as corporate bonds are not only for finance, but historically a way of doing business in the world of business law as opposed to scientific laws. The US Office of Technology Assessment went by the way during the Clinton/Gingerich Feud along with levee protection. Technology is not bias free in my opinion. Essentially the laws, and then the variance in the research i.e. Deming (see his earlier works) explores the dichotomies by which data is measured and gathered. I dare say, coming from a rural state, and the nature of the city, there is something profoundly true about the words that Karr Shannon once wrote. The hardness of how we perceive visually reality does not yield the truer workings of an advancing science. Hollywood might be the master of manipulating the image, but the truth constantly is being revised in the butterfly's wings. (Is this Wha-a-a enough? ) Can you cite your source YossarianMindbinder?
Again, how does that justify that horrible service and prices urban users face? And, yes, we do understand that you hate "socialist" Europe.

As Obama said in the second debate, do go on, Gyl. You bolster my case. Based on your single family/apartment building assertion, population density appears to be irrelevant in Comcast's price gouging.

Next you'll be arguing for saber and horse subsidies in the defense budget.

Price gouging: It costs more to send a text message on Earth than from Mars

, Verizon Wireless and AT&T will both charge $0.20 per text message if you don’t buy a texting plan from them. Even at a more conservative pricing of five cents per message, that means the carriers are charging around $383,000 per gigabyte.

By comparison, the total cost for the Mars Global Surveyor to send a gigabyte back to Earth, is only $284,000. This includes the $200 million cost of launching the satellite, and nine years of operational costs incurred by its NASA crew. That’s right — it costs US tax payers $99,000 less to send a gigabyte of data from Mars than it does for cellphone users to send a gigabyte worth of 160 character text messages.

And the eighth circuit is more draconian than watching an episode of the Tudors.

As we have seen from past situations here in Arkansas, it is best to buy and pay for a private phone to conduct personal matters.

Appointment to a federal judge's position, whether district or court of appeals, is all about politics. The lawyer I was talking about who won an appointment was a Huckabee flunky, if that tells you anything.

Plain, The quality of judges in the eighth circuit (Ark. Eastern District) has dropped considerably since the Eisele, Reasoner, and Henley days. A major slap against justice was when Bush appointed Leon Holmes to replace Reasoner. Similar to the appointment of little Timmy to U.S. attorney, it had nothing to do with justice and everything to do with right-wing cronyism.

Holmes was at one time a leader in the anti-abortion movement in Arkansas. In 1980, he minimized concerns about the effect on rape victims of a proposed constitutional amendment banning abortion. "Concern for rape victims is a red herring because conceptions from rape occur with approximately the same frequency as snowfall in Miami," he wrote. In 1982, he compared the abortion rights movement to the Nazis."

Seems like all Republicans learn biology from the same Sunday School tract.

We will be experiencing the ill-effects of Repug packing of the courts for many decades.

Over and over, Repugs have stonewalled judicial appointments of candidates that were, in their constantly ever rightward sliding barometer, considered "liberal." Politically neutral has become their definition of "liberal" nowadays. The result has been that, to fill the backlog as quickly as possible, the administration has caved in to the hostage takers and is now appointing judicial eunuchs, even though they too face Repug withering fire.

jim, as Gyp noted above there is no free market (enterprise) in telecoms. No where in USA!

Medicare costing more because medical costs are spiraling out of control. So what does the staunchest austerity Senator propose to do about it? Keep handing over an extra $500,000,000 per year for price maintanence of dialysis medicine. It only took about $60K to buy him off:

"WASHINGTON -- Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch angrily defended the inclusion of a controversial provision in the fiscal cliff deal that will pay major dividends to a single biopharmaceutical company, Amgen. The top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, Hatch teamed with panel chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) to include a host of tax extenders, credits and other provisions that added billions to the price tag of the bipartisan bargain.

The Amgen provision first surfaced in The New York Times, which noted that the bill blocks Medicare from regulating the price of Amgen's dialysis drug for two more years at a cost to the program of roughly $500 million. Democrats in the House have pledged to repeal it and former Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wisc.) launched a petition to have it stripped. Hatch, however, said he resents the response.
It only took $68K to drag along a corporate Democrat with him.

I do agree, eLwood. What pisses me is that I pay like $250.00 a month for phone, internet and cable, and I have a friend who has the same service from Cox, and he gets it for something like $180.00 a month. This is what happens when you have deregulation of rates, which Reagan did back in the mid-1980s, and let free enterprise operate at its own rapacious whims.

Proof that US consumers are being gouged on wireless is the criminally odd fact that a text message costs extra.

WTF!

A comunication that consumes comparitvely no time nor band width COSTS EXTRA! (a point of clarification, costs extra in the US)

The wireless companies had had to get competitive amongst themselves but then in a obvious illegal colusion all decided to hook kids on the no frills text option and then charge a giant premium on a 144 character max text (nanosecond blip) over minutes long open line voice transmission.

The USA is sadly behind on most developed technologies except for gun-bomb-missle technology. We're the world's largest munitions exporter. I don't know that we'll be able to trade our armaments for basics in the future. No one is looking forward to missles for dinner.

Was at a meeting earlier today and learned that China is now number one nation in use of alternative energy, solar, wind and other renewables. China is installing solar panels at 3x the rate of U.S. Germany is the solar leader.

Instead of subsidizing mega banks, who do little for this nation, it's about time millions of homeowers get some low interest money to install solar panels.

Not only are we being wholesale RIPPED off on internet/tv services cellular phones are biggest overpriced thing in American's budgets. For $15 mo a Mexican gets good cellular service. About the same in Europe and even less in India.

I know DBI agrees, and perhaps Jim, that Cox Communications is the biggest racket ever perpetuated on people.

We own property in Kansas City, MO. so developments there are of interest to us. I asked a Kansas City friend, who is a realtor, businesswoman and entrepreneur, what her thoughts were about the new high speed internet and what impact it is having on the city. This is her response: (KCK is Kansas City, Kansas and NKC is North Kansas City)

“Here's what I know about technology in KC. Google Fiber came to KC and started in a section of KCK (Wyandotte County) and on the corner of a Westport parcel on the KS side where they are headquartered. Young entrepreneurs are actually moving to Kansas City to start businesses here so they can be on the fastest network in the land. Speed to market means money for these young Bill Gates types.

I think Time Warner is probably dropping their rates so people will stay with them vs. jump ship to Google Fiber once it becomes available in their neighborhood. I see signs in neighborhoods like Brookside saying bring Google Fiber here next.

I'm using CLEAR service for my wireless internet connection and I was paying $60 a month and complained so they dropped it to $45 a month, but I'm thinking about going down to NKC office called Link City and switching to them for $25 for NKC residents. Internet service in KC is competitive. So seems to be a price war like the granite companies had when building was hot.”
