Much like the religious extremists of the Middle East, the religious extremists of the West hold that they have the right to force everyone to adhere to their fundamentalist religious doctrine. They claim to have the right to use any means necessary to achieve this goal, including methods that are circumscribed by their claimed tenets; such as lying, assaulting & killing. This mindset categorizes others as evil and brooks no untoward compassion in their holy war. As such, attempts to reason or compromise with extremism are often met with subterfuge and gamesmanship.

Until then, I'm still waiting for proof that, in America, "Most often the unborn women are eliminated because the parents wanted a boy." Showing some subsets of immigrants does not equal "most often" in the U.S. Do you understand how statistics work?

Do I need to remind everyone that we live in a free market economy, God's favored economic system?

It is perfectly right for the government to force a woman in poverty to have a child so that the child can be adopted by a higher-income couple. This is how the economy works.

All you bleeding heart liberals seem to ignore the tears of childless wealthy couples. Where will they get a child if not from the breeders in poverty?

These takers take everything; forcing them to have children for the makers seems only fair.

And a fine book it is too. The Holy Bible by Unknown. A bit inconsistent but a good read.

Outlier are you suggesting that immigrants to our country do not count as people living in the USA? About 99% of the people here now came from other countries.

Have you heard about the video that shows gendercide happening in Texas?
Check out this you tube video and below is the article describing what is happening.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe…

Live Action released a new undercover video showing a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Austin, TX encouraging a woman to obtain a late-term abortion because she was purportedly carrying a girl and wanted to have a boy. The video is first in a new series titled “Gendercide: Sex-Selection in America,” exposing the practice of sex-selective abortion in the United States and how Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry facilitate the selective elimination of baby girls in the womb.

“I see that you’re saying that you want to terminate if it’s a girl, so are you just wanting to continue the pregnancy in the meantime?” a counselor named “Rebecca” offers the woman, who is purportedly still in her first trimester and cannot be certain about the gender. “The abortion covers you up until 23 weeks,” explains Rebecca, “and usually at 5 months is usually (sic) when they detect, you know, whether or not it’s a boy or a girl.” Doctors agree that the later in term a doctor performs an abortion, the greater the risk of complications.

The Planned Parenthood staffer suggests that the woman get on Medicaid in order to pay for an ultrasound to determine the gender of her baby, even though she plans to use the knowledge for an elective abortion. She also tells the woman to “just continue and try again” for the desired gender after aborting a girl, and adds, “Good luck, and I hope that you do get your boy.”

“The search-and-destroy targeting of baby girls through prenatal testing and abortion is a pandemic that is spreading across the globe,” notes Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action. “Research proves that sex-selective abortion has now come to America. The abortion industry, led by Planned Parenthood, is a willing participant.”

Six studies in the past four years indicate that there are thousands of “missing girls” in the U.S., many from sex-selective abortion. The U.K., India, Australia, and other countries ban sex-selective abortion, but the U.S., save for three states, does not.

Yes, Saline, all of us here in China are doing gender selection because of the one child rule and the ethnic concern about having a son to honor your grave.

Find A US souce and stop the international s==t because I don't think that RAPEher can pass a law in China, Korea, or India and if he tried to do something even partially affecting those countries, they have ways over there of making you regret it!

The whole action of the Arkansas House and Senate just has made women of less value than men. They have just created a two-class system, the very thing that Saline rails against having taken place in Chinam, etc. Arkansas=where the women will walk two paces behind the men, except in areas where there are land mines. What's on teh agneda nest week-eliminating education for women above 3rd grade? Damn, the legislature acts like 13-year old teenage boys!

Maybe Saline needs to take his Bible out and see how Jesus (remember Him), held women up and honored them, e.g., His mother Mary and Mary Magdalene.

Little Rock-put that Tech Park money in the bank because no creative people (and 51% of them are women) will want to live in this backward state. Would they want their kids listening to this garbage or going to school with people who think this way, especially in those white-flight private schools.

Saline, those articles are talking about a small sub-set of immigrant populations from three countries, not the U.S. as a whole. There are also articles pointing out that male preference is on the decline in China. Male preference disappears in second generation populations.

And from Mr. Mosher's testimony, it would seem that ads offering gender-selection abortion are no longer appearing in the NY Times. It's called progress, Saline. Progress is something that troglodytes fear. If you cared as much about preventing abortion as you do about controlling women, you would be in the trenches fighting for easier and cheaper access to birth control. You might also be doing something about how some people raise their sons.

Infamous Amos asked me to "Cite a source showing this "fact" as true in the United States."
I am running out the door for a meeting but I paste a few articles that cite the same study done at Columbia in 2008 on gendercide.
Here is link to part of that study:
http://www.pnas.org/content/105/15/5681.fu…

In the Heritage article Sarah Torre notes:

Sex-selective abortion is at work in the U.S. as well. Until recent negative publicity, “it was not unusual to find abortionists advertising the availability of sex-selective abortions in newspapers such as the New York Times,” Steven W. Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute, testified at a congressional hearing in December.

In a 2008 study, Columbia University researchers found that among children born in America to Chinese, Korean and Indian parents, a first-born girl tends to skew the sex ratio of the second or third birth. For second births the male-female ratio was 117 to 100, the report said, and for third births 151 to 100 if the couple already had two girls.

As technology plays a larger role in reproduction, parents can choose whether to carry a child to term based on sex or other genetic characteristics. That leads to Hvistendahl’s grim conclusion: “In China and California alike, mothers have become their own eugenicists.”
Saline when i was a little girl - and I was little bitty - I used to try and stand on the toilet when I went pee because i wanted to be a boy so bad. But that was because I lived in a world in which girls and women were second class citizens. You're argument is based on women and girls being second class citizens. It was beat in to me on a daily basis by a man who made his living in the pulpit. If you want to end abortion then you and your ilk- need to force the sperm donors to be responsible, both pre-ejaculation and post-ejaculation.

You want all the power and none of the responsibility. You. Don't Get. to. Control. My. Vagina. Or anyone else's.

You yammer on about gender selection. It's bullshit, Saline, and you know it. ( I am, with that statement, referring to the good ole U.S. of A. Our laws aren't gonna affect squat in India or China.)

My daddy, bless his heart, had the grace to die before I turned 13. I discovered orgasms, deep, vaginal orgasms, when I was 14. Got knocked up when I was 17. Had me a baby girl. Now she's more than twice that old and has her own baby girl.

Vaginas are not property, Saline. And parents who want a boy enough that they abort girls don't need to be bringing any babies into the world, much less girl babies, because they are just more property.

Vagina trumps penis, Saline. For thousands and thousands of years it's been all about the cold hard fact that women know who they give birth to, and men simply had to either take the word of the woman involved. Or not. Especially if that woman was his property. Then he could control every option in her life. Because that's the way god ordained it and all. Because Eve gave that apple to Adam to god cursed her in childbirth. All her fault.

Original sin is bullshit, too, Saline.

Yes, there are abortions that are perhaps morally questionable. Butcha know what, Saline? I'm not gonna judge them. Isn't that the realm of your god? The judging, I mean? Karma even.

Gender selection occurs because girls aren't valued equally to boys, Saline, and you can sputter all you want, but unless you've secretly been waging a war for gender equality, then you're in the camp that values males more highly than females. I mean really, isn't that why Jesus only had 12 disciples? You're a fine one to be talking gender selection?

"Abortion is a war on unborn women especially when gender selection is done. Most often the unborn women are eliminated because the parents wanted a boy."---Saline

Another bullshit argument in a long list of bullshit arguments from Saline. How many abortions for gender selection are done in this country, Saline? I imagine near zero.

Saline, if abortion is murder, then why make exceptions for rape and incest? Why make exceptions for the life of the mother? You may be thwarting God's will if you choose life for the mother over the fetus. Maybe God has big plans for that unborn fetus. Why not carry this to its logical end and let God decide?

Jason of the unfortunate surname and Bledsoe (kind of unfortunate, too, since if she has her way and Roe v Wade is reversed, lots of women will bleed to death from back-alley and self-induced abortions) are religious zealots of the worst sort. They are bigots as well since they are intolerant of any opinion not their own.

The unborn baby is a genetically distinct entity and is located inside the mother but is not the mother's body. The blood type shows that the baby is just growing there but is different. Yesterday "WhatAmberloves," rightly said that there is a choice and that choice is to not get pregnant if you don't want a child. Killing the child is not a viable choice. Vanessa that comes from another lady's perspective. If you care about your gender so much then you should oppose abortion. Abortion is a war on unborn women especially when gender selection is done. Most often the unborn women are eliminated because the parents wanted a boy. How does that sad fact hit you Vanessa?
