Of course, most of the charter schiols aren't using experienced educated teachers in the areas they teach. Many are using teachers with no or little training because they are cheaper than hiring qualified experienced teachers. And, of course, every school wants involved parents but that is what the charter schools are doing when they pull the cream out of the public schools. Every teacher wiould like every student to have a intact family with both parents and only one having to work but most of Arkansas isn't Chenal and most live on Walmart wages, no insurance, and have no spare funds available so both have to work just to keep food on the table and the lights on.

Gly, you need to actually get out into the world to some of the rural schools and ask to be a substitute teacher. It might just open your eyes so you don't make as many stupid statemwents. But then again, maybe it wouldn't because empathy is also involved!

You are presenting false dichotomy. A charter school could, if it chose to do so, attempt items 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7.
