Outlier, the racists had it bad enough (in their eyes) the last four years. They are coming unglued that the rest of us reelected him again. They believe it's some sinister plot to take over this nation. What else could be going on in their eyes? Fox told them repeatedly he would not win. ; )

One of the LR TV stations posted a story on their FB page about black students being punished more in schools last week. The report had a paragraph that some would say it was due to the black children's behavior but pointed out why that wasn't the case. Oh the hate spewed out about "race card" "crap" " not true!" "never happens" "whites are discriminated against" and on and on. I didn't do them any favors when I pointed out that their posts their comments simply prove why it still occurs.

They'll be horrid and violent the next four years, like this guy who slapped the baby. Just like the gay haters and the anti-abortionists, the internet will show the Americans that usually don't see this behavior how awful they truly are to live around.

Outlier, welcome to the wonderful zoo of Windstream. Liars, cheaters and just fucking
BAD actors are they. We would gladly use another service, 'cept we'd still have to use shitstream's 20th century "technology"; overhead wires, un-buried cables. Call the attorney general's consumer hot line. If enough folks call, it can have an effect. Like Arlo said, "You gotta sing LOUD if you wanna end war and STUFF".(last emphasis mine)

Daughter and I went to the crater a few years ago. It was on my Bucket List, but I'm still kicking. The place IS privately owned and they would not let me set up my slightly illegal mobile adult beverage emporium in the parking log.

Louie, The crater is privately owned, I believe. They won't let you hike to the bottom these days. Some lady did it wearing sandals, tripped and sprained her ankle, sued the owners and won apparently. It's crazy because you can twist your ankle on the rim trail just as easily.

That meteorite is the size of a house and sent debris flying about 700 miles. The meteorites we have seen in showers the last few years are the size of a grain of sand.

And I'm still off and on with internet access and no land line. Anybody know what's up?

SUBWAY & Doctor’s Associates Inc. of Little Rock not measuring up:

FAYETTEVILLE — A Springdale man sued Subway claiming he was shorted on his sandwiches.

Vincent Gotter contends he bought sandwiches in January from a Subway in Springdale that, upon closer inspection, didn’t measure up.

“Upon investigation, plaintiff determined that the sandwiches that were sold and advertised as both six-inch and foot-long sandwiches were short of the measurements advertised,” according to the lawsuit.

Gotter didn’t say how short his subs were.

The lawsuit names Doctor’s Associates Inc. of Little Rock doing business as Subway. It seeks class action status to represent all customers who bought sandwiches at the fast-food chain in Arkansas during the past three years.

Kent Hirsch of Springdale represents Gotter in the case.

Claims include violation of the state Deceptive Trade Practices Act for misrepresenting in advertising the size of the subs being sold.

The lawsuit seeks damages of more than $150,000 but less than $5 million.

The lawsuit was initially filed in Washington County Circuit Court and removed to federal court Friday at the request of Doctor’s Associates, which says issues of diversity of residence and the amount of potential damages trigger federal jurisdiction.

Doctor’s Associates claims it is a Florida corporation with its principal place of business in Connecticut.
....
More than 30 million foot-long Subway sandwiches were sold in Arkansas between Jan. 25, 2010, and January 25, 2013, according to the notice of removal. The average price was more than $5 each. Sales of foot-longs for the period were at least $151.1 million.

The company said it sold more than 18 million six-inch subs during the time period with the average price being more than $2 each....

“Based on Gotter’s own proposed damage metric, if the sandwiches in question were 3 percent too short, or a quarter inch for a foot-long sub and an eighth of an inch for a six inch sub, the amount of damages would be $5,637,539,” according to the notice of removal.
....
Subway has been hit with a number of lawsuits around the country and even in Australia from customers claiming their subs don’t measure a full 12 inches. The company recently issued a statement saying it was taking steps to make sure sandwiches are uniform in length.

“We have redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve,” the statement said. “Our commitment remains steadfast to ensure that every Subway Footlong sandwich is 12 inches at each location worldwide.”

Subway has not commented on the lawsuits specifically, but in response to other lawsuits, the company has said the term footlong is a registered trademark used to describe its sandwiches and is not intended to be an actual measurement of length.

The short sub issue arose after an online video of a man measuring an 11-inch sandwich went viral.
