Great, so now we can have so called "ticket brokers" come in and buy up large blocks of seats then charge us outrageous fees. I liked it better when it was just Ticketmaster adding their inconvience fees or as I call them "eff you" fees...

Those "artists" probably won't, because they're silly children, but adult artists have gone to great lengths to control ticket prices and scalping. The members of Pearl Jam testified before congressional committees a few (?) years ago: back in the day, Joan Baez, the Grateful Dead and Springsteen worked to control scalping and ticket prices.

GOP = Great On Profits! Free market types love the idea of one of their buddies making a killing adding a middleman's large profit to any deal. That's why I'm amazed they're against illegal immigration and the legalizing of Pot.......by god there's lots of money to be made by GOP middlemen in those areas.

Plus making you pay 150 bucks for a 30 dollar ticket to see a 3rd rate act that would play Arkansas is some kind of sticking it to Hollywood for the Bible-thumping GOPers. Take comfort in the fact that Beebe will not lift a finger to veto or sign this bill into law. Feel safer now?

The police in Arkansas haven't solved every other crime with actual victims and have better things to do than fight supply and demand.
