Mike, you're the Governor, act like one. You're no longer a senator/legislator where you gotta be every ones' friend. There's compromise, but then there's capitulation. You've fought for the responsibility of leadership, be responsible. What would Bill Gwatney think about your surrendering to a bunch of ignorant yahoos? Do you have any pride left?

Do you care about the state you're leaving to your children? Republicans don't experience shame. Do you? Or would you rather be resigned to impotent ignominy and condemn your children to a future of shame and oppression? The ball's in your court. Maybe the third or fourth-party candidates (and write-ins) would have been better stewards of the state. You fail.

Unless Beebe is cynically angling for another public office (or a cushy corporate golden parachute), it is time for him to act as an honorable human being. If he fails to veto the egregiously bad legislation being defecated from the 2013 Ledge, he will be guilty of crimes against humanity. Simply allowing legislation to become law without his signature is rank cowardice. His name will be synonymous with Quisling and Benedict Arnold.

His legacy will be non-compostable shit and haunt his children beyond the end of his days.

Democrats should insist on complete implementation of Medicaid Expansion and nothing less. The Nursing Homes and Hospital should go lobby the morons in the Legislature. Hey, if we can't get it all, let's send all these republicans grandmas home to live in their "man-rooms" Because the Republicans can't afford those nursing homes living on their government (legislative) stipend and expense account.
