The ONLY way a Judge will fire is when fired by a pull of the trigger finger. You can throw the gun on the ground, hitting the hammer on the asphalt as hard as you can throw and the gun will not fire.

The idiot made many mistakes, not the least of which was trying to drop the hammer on a live chamber, and putting his hand over the muzzle. This guy got what he deserved, in true Darwin fashion.
