leave it to bigoted homophobic people to complain about something new. Change is a GREAT thing and it all around us; for example, our first African American President Is now in his 2nd term, Ru Paul (who should be vice president lol) Has a huge hit show, that help Americas to appreciate and respect drag queens, and in some states people are allowed to marry who they love regardless to their sexual orientation. So I think it is a beautiful thing that some of my fellow homosexual family are brave enough to stand up for what the believe in and help to show the rest of us that anything is possible.

I have to also say that I as a spiritual person, don't agree with some of the comments on here. Saying "i don't hate anyone", to only talk bad about them being gay and how its an issue to be on the board is totally in my opinion hypercritical, but to say that u don't hate us because god told u not to is 100% B.S. I myself believe in mother nature (native american background) but also believe god and mother nature are the same. You are a human being just like the rest of us and usually in life (in my experiences) when someone starts out saying "i don't hate gays BUT" it 9 times out of 10 means they are not being honest with not only them-selves but to god either. This is just my person opinion and i hope it helps others see that WE JUST WANT TO BE APART OF SOCIETY AND HELP OTHERS TO JUST LIKE U!

Maxi, no group of homosexuals can use "the system" to take over an entire town. The people that are responsible for bankrupting the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs are the very ones who made this DVD. When I visited Eureka Springs last Summer, I was heartbroken. I had wanted to see the Passion Play since I was a child. I am now 45and and will never get the opportunity to take my 13 year old child to the play due to what I have termed a 'HATE CRIME' by people professing to be Christians, when in all truthfulness, you are the very ones hurting a small town based on your feelings of HATE, certainly NOT THE LOVE that OUR GOD instructs us to give away on a minute by minute basis. Yes, I am a gay Mom and my partner and our adopted childfamily are moving to Eureka Springs in June of 2013, not be because we are homosexual, BUT because it is just so beautiful there and I feel safe to raise my child there. AFA, you seriously need new material. How about the failing health system for people with mental illness in the US or what about gun control??? What a out Social Security and Medicare for our elders in America. FOCUS ON REAL ISSUES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE THAT HELP AND THAT DO NOT HINDER!!! KELLI MIMS

12/10/2012. The Passion Play closed in bankrupcy due to the lack of attendance. The American Family Association told people to boycott Eureka Springs, Arkansas because of pro gay politics and closed a long running telling of the end of Christ's life. Bizarre the Christian Community would turn on itself. Hope the AFA is proud and happy. Oh, just a note, tourism is up this year for the town

"They're Coming To Your Town' is an eye-opener to those who are not familiar with how homosexuals use the system to attain their goals." -- Yeah, because they've used the system to gain the right to be married and to be foster parents and/or adopt children...oh wait...my bad.

First, I don't hate gay people because they are still people and the Lord told us to love EVERYONE, not just the people that I agree with. Granted, I don't agree with turning an entire town into a "haven for gays" but that is beside the point.
My problem is why is it up to just the city council to decide this instead of letting it go to a public vote? If the counsel thought they could get the majority vote from the people of Eureka Springs, they would let it be voted on by the people!
As far as the AFA, they are kind of out there on some issues but on other issues I do agree with them.

.I love Eureka Springs. It makes me even happier to know they're sticking it to the man.

.On another note, if anyone is bothered by the AFA documentary they just need to remember that the American Family Association is kind of a huge joke. Deep down, even they know that.
