It's Shop 'n' Sip night in Hillcrest and Gallery 26 has the cheeseball waiting for you. Besides the wine and whatnot, the Blue-Eyed Knocker Photo Club exhibit is up and Erin Lorenzen will be selling her T-shirts and jewelry and demonstrate "how to sit regally." Don't ask me, I'm just passing along the word. From now until 9 p.m.

After hours at Gallery 26: Cefalo

It's March 1, the first Thursday of the month, and that means Hillcrest merchants and restaurants will make merry tonight. At Gallery 26, see works by figurative painter Stephen Cefalo, whose ample 21st century Madonna and children are painted in a rich, classical style, and hear music by the Staggering G8z.
