The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, the archive of the Central Arkansas Library System housed at the Arkansas Studies Institute, contains gubernatorial and other important records, books, photographs and other items of historical significance. Its collection also includes art, such as collection from the Rohwer and Jerome Japanese internment camps. A commercial gallery and exhibition space is on the first floor of the ASI.
