Gossip in Little Rock

8:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 30

Vino's, $15 adv., $20 d.o.s.

Even though it could probably fill a room three times as big, Gossip is playing Vino's on Friday. “Our booking agent was like, ‘Beth you can't play Vino's,' said Ditto, mimicking an exasperated voice. “I told him we have to. It's such a big deal for us to play there.”

All of the band's past Little Rock shows have been in the narrow club and usually the audience has been dominated by Beth's family, easy to spot in fresh Gossip shirts.

They'll be there in full-force, Ditto said, but mixed with a packed crowd. At deadline the concert was near sold-out, but promoter Joey Lucas said 50 tickets will be for sale at the door, beginning at 7:30 p.m., on Friday.
