John Glasgow told Dillard to "call off their dogs". It is clear the poor guy was being harassed and wanted it to stop. People who commit suicide have a long history of suicide attempts and hospitalizations; especially at his age. He didn't. So, to think this could be suicide is ridiculous. I think he was being pressured to fix the books and failure to comply resulted in his permanent silence. With the economy tanking in 2008 a restatement indicating an overstatement of profits could mean the difference between the company staying afloat or tanking. Regardless, a conscientious accountant would refuse to be dishonest and report accurate statements. I hope a solid case against the people who did this to him is being built and the family gets justice for their loss.
