The menu has something for everyone, including mahi-mahi and wings. Try the burgers, which are juicy, big and fine.
If you're looking for a place where everybody knows your name — in a strip mall in West Little Rock — Markham Street Pub is definitely that spot. Filled with neighborhood regulars and folks just off the clock from nearby businesses, it's perhaps the most "Cheers"-like bar in the area. And it's not without its surprises, including a full menu with some of the best burgers in the city (the fried jalapeño topped Southwest Burger is a must). Go for cheap and live music with no cover Friday and Saturday nights.

While Markham Street’s regular burger is a doozy, we recommend the Black and Blue ($7.95 with chips). It takes it to the next level with not just blue cheese but a blue cheese dressing to boot. The hand-formed, heavily charred patty is hardly spiced at all but it doesn’t need to be with the tart and salty layers of blue cheese. An onion ring on top gives a little added texture and sweetness. Not for the light of tongue.
