• The number of foundations in Arkansas increased from 107 in 1975 to 252 in 2002.


• The assets of those foundations increased from $26 million in 1975 ($91.2 million in 2002 dollars) to $1.8 billion in 2002.


• The giving by those foundations increased from $2 million in 1975
($7,017,990 in 2002 dollars) to $218 million in 2002.
