  • Arkansas Sports 360 fans note: Jim Harris lives on new sports website

The Arkansas Business Publishing Group shut down its Arkansas Sports 360 effort recently, leaving a significant on-line audience with withdrawal symptoms for the loss of timely sports reporting and commentary. But a new website, Sporting Life Arkansas, will fill that void beginning Friday morning.

Re: “Trump sets record attendance at Barton? Let's go to the tape.

I have gone to a LOT of concerts at Barton back in the day, and I promise you, there were many, many times it was fuller than that.

Re: “Jason Rapert vs. Wikipedia

If Senator Rapert genuinely believes he has been libeled, I would encourage him to seek a legal remedy.

But we all know that won't happen, as he loves being the martyr too much.

Re: “Jason Rapert digs a deeper hole on Lowe's encounter

I wish we would stop letting him get away with calling himself a conservative when he is, in reality, a right wing radical.

A fascist, if you will.

Re: “State Police issues statement on Jason Rapert 'threats'

The thing you have to understand about Rapert is that absolutely nothing you or I (or Max) can say to him will have any effect on him whatsoever - either positive or negative. He is a creature of pure emotion.

When someone agrees with him, he assumes that person is a good Christian and takes it as validation that he is correct.

When someone disagrees with him, he assumes that person is a Godless heathen and takes it as validation that he is correct.

It's a neat trick that absolves him from ever having to think rationally, morally or subjectively.

He is walking, talking proof of the maxim "There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation."

Re: “Jason Rapert again plays the victim card

So, I guess the takeaway here is that TWO rude constituents confronted Mr. Rapert in a threatening way while he was loading his Lowe's lumber into his vehicle.

Man, Mr. Rapert is quite the magnet for rude constituents.

Re: “Rapert says governor should take cues on marriage from Southern Baptist Convention president

It occurs to me that Mr. Rapert is making our job easier in a way by being so loud and outspoken about exactly how completely unhinged, unreasonable, uncompromising and unforgiving a lunatic that he is.

So, party on Jason. You keep on doing you.
