Winter is the perfect time to explore the natural stone shelters where native Arkansans once lived
The Lee Boys, a big hit at Riverfest in May with their high-energy gospel-influenced, pedal-steel jam rock, will be back to provide the music for the Rumba Rum Party at Rumba and Revolution on Thursday, Aug. 17.
The Arkansas Times and outontherock.com are throwing the end-of-the-summer party from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the restaurant and large music club, 300 President Clinton Ave. Besides the Lee Boys from Miami, the party will feature live music on the Rumba outside patio, the first Little Rock Limbo contest, drink specials featuring the favored libation of the night, and discounted tickets to the Lee Boys show later that night.
The Lee Boys are part of a big weekend at the Revolution Room, with Devon Allman’s Honeytribe appearing Saturday, Aug. 19 (see related story on page 23). The Lee Boys’ show will start at 10:30 p.m.
