Another success story

Schools are closed. Public workers aren't being paid. Public services are in danger because of a huge budget shortfall. A third-world banana republic? No, a U.S. territory -- Puerto Rico.

What are all the Hotel Casinos doing for the schools/
What about all the major pharmaceutical companies there that provide medicine to all the major pharmaceuticals in the State. What about the tourism commission. What about the rum, sugar and vanilla companies that are extremely well off.
I have seen the poverty in the territory. It is a welfare territory. But a Bail out wouldnt make all those well to do companies put up any more than they are now. As long as State assistance is promised, they will rely entirely off of it. While the big guys irresponsibly make off with the loot.

We will never run low of Rum thanks almost entirely to Puerto Rico.
Through Merc, Eli Lilly, Phiser and on and on located on the island we have a steady supply over overpriced drugs. All the oceanfront resort hotels have casinos which would rival with vegas. On the other hand , there is poverty which always leads to the social decline and as I have stated many times. As long as people are oppressed and will live off the government programs , they will..
My bottom line is pull the money from the profits of the big companies if they have any social responsibility at all . The only assistance to provide from tax dollars should be used not as a paycheck but as what it is designed for, real public assistance.

For a minute there I thought you were talking about Pulaski County.
