Holiday killings

You read here earlier about Betsey Wright complaining about scheduling of executions around holidays. Her complaint gets some mileage today in AP coverage.

Betsy, shame on you ....

Burn 'em.

Is there a good day for the state to murder?

See, this is how they do it:

Huckabee also said, "To suggest we set dates to purposely inflict emotional trauma on the families of state employees is beyond the pale even for Betsey Wright."

She didn't say the dates were set "to inflict emotion traum on ... families", she said they were set to avoid the public eye.

Big difference.

I must remember to proofread.

widj...you idiot, you must also remember to get a life !!!!!

Anonymous 1043:

If intelligence were arm wrestling and you took on widj, you would be kissing the tops of your own knuckles by now. I would bet my old yellow dog on that.

I ignored him (my new policy), but thanks anyway, who's.

The server appeared to be timing out, even as I noticed a typo, so I stopped it (I thought), made the correction and hit 'post' again. It was just then that I noticed another typo, but too late. Hence my third post.

No harm done. At least I think my drift was clear, and I'd still like to hear Huh?kabee (the ? is intentional) defend his obviously disingenuous attempt at spin.

Heaven forbid that we should incur the wrath of Betsey! I can't think of a more steller person than she. She is so respresentative of Arkansas.
