Bill's excellent African adventure

The Clinton Foundation today announced a new flash multimedia website for Bill Clinton's current trip to Africa.

At the site, you can read entries from Clinton’s travel diary (he was in South Africa yesterday), view updated photos, read news clips, and learn about his foundation's work.

Speaking of Clinton, in my latest Times you promoted a piece on the Clinton Center, but those pages were not in my Times but instead lots of advertising. Did someone goof?

ARKBLOG: Yes, we made a mistake in our table of contents by somehow including a plug for an old Brummett column.

I just hope that he is a good boy while he is there. There is always a danger that he will lapse into his old ways when he is around so much temptation (girls) and no hillary to keep him straight.

Big boy, you are such a little man.

This is the most boring blog in the world.

I think it's pretty interesting that this particular thread, posted by Warwick at Friday, July 14, 2006 - 10:32:47, has, at 6:09ish PM, exactly 4 comments, while the thread about Hillary, posted at 11:25:24, already has 53.

Gosh, people don't even get worked up about Bill anymore. I can't believe it's because they haven't forgiven him, because they toss that in at every opportunity. I guess Hillary is too much more of a threat to them than Bill is these days.

wiji,
I was thinking the same thing. I think the Clinton-haters have re-directed their energies, thinking that Hillary is the larger threat.
Wait until Bill starts raising funds. The neocons will be back on him, slinging every bit of mud and worse.

I expect they'll drag up this picture of Bill with the good archbishop and let the innuendoes fly.

The way I look at it, a vote for Hillary in '08, is a vote for returning Bill Clinton to the White House for another 8 years of peace and posterity.

We have no way of knowing how much of the previous Clinton administration was Bill or Hillary or both. I'd bet another 8 years with Hillary in the driver's seat and Bill as co-pilot would be like a thundershower dowsing a raging forest fire.

Is there anyone on earth that stands a better chance at righting the wrongs of the Bush administration and stopping all the wars and atrocities going on around the world today? I think it's our only chance to crawl out of Bush Hell.
