Democratic redistricting

A close analysis in the Washington Post says Democrats have few opportunities to do DeLay-style redistricting of state congressional districts -- permissible at any time under a recent Supreme Court decision - and likely won't act on on the few that exist.

Didn't read yet. But why am I not surprised at dems hanging limp wristed.

And who's complaining? TO THE VICTOR BELONGS THE SPOILS.

Stop abandoning God, and you guys might win a few.

This lack of initiative dove-tails nicely with another of the Democratic Party's recent self inflicted gunshot wounds of spreading their relatively meager cash out evenly in a '50 State Strategy' rather than concentrating on where they are genuinely competitive -- like the 2008 election is going to hinge on whether Sen. Clinton or Feingold carries Alabama. What fools. The Democratic Party is DEAD.

Stop abandoning God, and you guys might win a few.

Beautiful example here of the very type of imbecile that has infested most of the southern states. Write them off!

I wouldn't really consider the republicans real winners......

Not real winners? Then why are they laughing all the way to the bank?

What, I thought the democrats could really do some good here in AR. Oh yeah, they have already drawn the lines in such a way as to screw the Republicans.

"Stop abandoning God, and you guys might win a few."

9.0, for pushing two buttons in an easily-defended punchy phrase almost guaranteed to provoke a righteous response. I initally thought 8.5, but there just aren't that many decent Republican trolls here.

Keep up the good work.

I go beyond beating a dead horse, I beat dead dinosaurs. But as one who loves a good lost cause, I would rather remain a loser than adopt the Republican's dirty tricks to win. Honest losers have more dignity and honor than any winner who stoops to dirty tricks in order to win. Every living person knows DeLay cooked every boundary line in Texas in the Republican's favor. I'd be embarrassed to death if Marion Berry did the same thing for the Democrats.

I still have my John Kerry sticker on my bumper and get great satisfaction sitting in front of a W stickered goofball at a stop light. Not all pleasures come from winning, but being right feels good all the time. Now where did I put that musket???

DBI, too bad you're wrong.

60 millions americans think you're a nutjob.

That probably turns you on, since you were a loner nonconformist that "REBELLED" in high school...lol
