Ann Coulter is the voice of the REAL American people. Al Franken is the voice of the 3rd class, lazy, share the wealth, anti U.S. freaks. Much like the inhabitants of Hillcrest-Quapaw. a.k.a. Spirit, Rosso, DBI, OLd Ugly Zelda..uh...Hugh, Blue Nuts et all.

Can you imagine all of the FDA agents around Bill Mahrer if he had sent a "white powder" letter to the Washington Times? If it went through the mail, the Postal Inspection branch ought to be going after her. If the powder leaks out, they would have no option than to shut down everything and go through the decontamination procedures until they learned what it was. This isn't funny. This is the kind of s--- that can cause real people to get hurt trying to resolve a non-problem.

She needs to have her mouth washed out with soap and a few days in a federal slammer. But that won't happen because she is Rove's girl. This is what you get with one party politics. Sort of like Iran, Burma, and Russia. Anything they want to do is legal because they define "legal". And we thought the definition of "is" was a problem.

Axis Annie Coulter is a peach. The true face of the Bush Republican Party. How proud it must feel to be a Republican these days. I love it every time Ann opens her mouth, she breeds a new Democrat....why, it's like when a bell rings another angel gets their wings!

Many people already start laughing when she comes on the TV screen, but just wait 20 years when historians watch her vids. She'll be the female Joe McCarthy and don't think Democrats won't be using her words for anchors around future Republican necks.

Al Franken will be the next Senator from Minnesota and lead the new Democratic majority in dismantling the last 5 years of Bush horror. He'll be the new voice of the Senate one of these days and we won't have to worry about him lying or being too stupid to get the facts straight. He does meticulous homework, unlike Axis Annie who is incorrect the majority of the time.

I hope every voter thinks of Ann just before they go into the voting booth this November. She's the best vote getter the Democratic Party has and I thank her in advance for the victory she is helping Bush hand to the Democrats in a few short months. You can't recognize good without a good example of evil. Ann serves her purpose well.

Just like that business at Philander Smith, Ol' Annie is just plain poison. Funny that she singles out the NY Times...they are hardly part of the so-called liberal media.

DBI is right, the Repubs that I call friends are embarrassed by her antics and all are sure she hurts the Repubs agenda.

I think that Ann is a smart and attractive woman. I enjoy her commentary and her interviews. I have never seen anyone get the best of her.

People are so sick of the whining and wimpiness that they hear and see so often today that what she has to say is refreshing. I'm not worried about how it will effect the elections.

DBI, I'd hate to see you take time away from active blog work, but I really think if you spent some time going back through the blog archives you could compile your posts into a book that, given proper promotion, could sell well. Keep the money, give it to your favorite charity, whatever, but do it. It's worth the time, others would appreciate it, I want a copy, and keep up the great work!

Let me say that I, as a Democrat, have always thought the Republicans held the high ground, invulnerability-wise, on some issues. Not that I agree with them, just feel like it's hard/uncomfortable to argue some points, like abortion, with them. But I never before imagined Republicans thought Democrats were invulnerable on some issues.

Learning this, I feel like DiCaprio on the bow of that boat, saying, I'm the King of the World!

Of course, we know what happened at the end of that story. Anyway, feels good to hear this, and if I've misinterpreted it, please don't tell me.

This is a good place to try and regurgitate something I read a few months ago and never got around bringing up. Someone wrote a wonderful piece on Atrios I think it was, anyway it was about the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

It goes along with John Dean's new book, though written before it and shows again that Republicans are born and not made. This guy's main point was that Republicans seem to share the same brain. If one of them says Up or Down Vote...all the rest of them start repeating it like puppets on a string.

If you say Rove sniffs dog butt, all Republicans are offended at the same time. You hardly ever catch Republicans disagreeing or piling on a wounded chicken of they're same kind, Katharine Harris being the exception. If I say Bush is a flaming homosexual...it wounds them all the same.

What Republicans don't get is that Democrats aren't built that way. We don't talk to each other all the time, we're not clued in to what the rest are thinking or saying or doing. We're not Siamese twins, we don't look alike, sound alike or act alike. We try to stick together, but often break off and do things like point out that Lieberman is a shit or Joe Biden is an ass. Go ahead, call a Democrat a name, I won't bleed. Democrats are similar companions often traveling down the same road, but we're not Stepford clones.

And for that reason Republicans have an edge on us in modern politics. A group filled with any disorganization rarely has a chance against a fine tuned, well oiled legion of zombies. That is why we're losing more elections than we're winning....at least for now. But if I had to think and act like a Republican to win....shoot....it's not worth it.

There's no joy in winning if you have to sink to the level of your stinky opponent. The end rarely justifies the means to a Democrat and before I rig an election I'll bask in losing. Before I attack a country for it's oil, I'll walk. Before I build a smear campaign to discredit a good person I'll jump off the roof. Out a CIA agent, nope! Collectively sit on our hands until enough black folks died in New Orleans to destroy it.....oh god no! Not something Democrats could do.

The 3rd Reich ran like a fine Swiss watch, but no thanks.....please don't count me in. I'll stick with my funky party of individuals and throw rocks at the party with the rubber bullets and the telepathic messages and let the world give America an Up or Down Vote.

I have revised my Descartes' type opinion that has served me well for the last 10 or so years in dealing with the growing number of win at any cost people. And they showed their true colors in groves when W got elected. It was the four solutions to the win-lose mentality: win-win, win-lose, lose-win and lose-lose. But their numbers grew to the point that there are only the last two possibilities. It is not hard to point out the fact that these have won some battles but they are losing the war. Iraq, Hummers, global warming, immigration, a coming election...you name it.
