LR indie music doc set for release

A documentary film about the independent music scene in Little Rock, titled "Towncraft," is scheduled for release in January.

Matson Films, founded by Little Rock native Richard Matson, will distribute the movie, which focuses on the evolution of Max Recordings, a local independent record label.

You can watch a trailer at towncraftmovie.com.

Matson Films previously released the award-winning 2004 comedy "It's All Gone Pete Tong" and "The World's Best Prom."
