Medical report sought
Word is circulating that Sen. Tracy Steele, director of the state Martin Luther King Commission, was being treated for a heart-related condition. A spokesman at his office said employees had been instructed not to comment. She said Steele's family should have a statement tomorrow. So far, we've received no response to messages left at his home and elsewhere.
Friends say he sought medical attention for chest pains and was admitted to Baptist Health, North Little Rock.

Comments
Maybe his friend Bill Walker can sue his heart better.

With a quote like that, Anon 4:32, I can only suppose you weren't raised here. I like to think that Arkies know how to behave a little better than that.
Best wishes to Tracy Steele on a speedy recovery.

How dare you talk to me like that Lorax!
I am going to get John Walker and sue you!

And, Lorax, do I interpret your statement to suggest that one who was not raised here is inherently more likely to be crass? How arrogant!

Tracy Steele has always been a stand up guy, both in his personal and political life. My prayers are with him and his entire family. Tracy, get well soon and I hope to see you next time I'm down in LR.

Chanel 7 just reported that he had a heart attack and that he got to the hospital before any damage was done to his heart muscles.
Maybe Mr. Walker should sue Chanels 4 and 11 for not being as speedy as Chanel 7 on this story.

Tracy Steele is a model for youngsters. He involves himself with the little ones and the older children. I have seen his committment in my school.
To Anonymous: When you become an adult and have some life experiences, perhaps you will grow past the adolescent vitriolic anger you so readily spew now.
Thank you, Tracy for all you do. Our prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

You obvioulsy don't know about his personal life [and maybe his political life either!]
But may he return to good health anyway.

Ditto - DanQuayle! I didn't want to say anything, but you said it for me.
I also wish no harm on anyone and wish him a speedy recovery.
