Mighty ducky

A blog reader says the latest issue of Ducks Unlimited magazine lists Gov. Mike Huckabee as a president's council member for giving $10,000 to the organization this year.

Money laundering anyone?

A little resume' polish never hurts. Did what's-his-name with the christmas lights and good suits fund it?

And his salary was how much?
(I know, but this seems like a pretty outrageous amount to contribute to Duck's Unlimited - so did it come from his personal income?)

The Governor has a discretionary fund to make gifts and contributions to non-profits, special causes, etc. That's likely where these dollars originated. I'm sure a well worded FOI would get to the discretionary fund reports. That would likely be interesting reading.
