Woody buys TV

It looks like Democratic congressional candidate Woody Anderson is going to launch a campaign ad this week, and it may even air during the Razorback football game on Saturday night. Anderson is running against incumbent U.S. Rep. John Boozman in the 3rd District.

In what we hope will be a regular feature here during the campaign season, we're bringing you a preview of the ad. Check it out (Adobe Flash Player required):

It's already been showing on local stations. Woody talks about ending corporate welfare for oil companies and something about healthcare. He is really inspiring. He inspired me to change the channel.

Am I missing something? Asa Hutchinson raised over $400,000 yesterday and you haven't posted anything about it. Yet, somehow you think some also ran running TV ads is news. An also ran who has no shot of winning in NWA, by the way. I'm looking forward to your spin on Asa raising so much money and how it's bad for him and good for Beebe.

What are you waiting for?

Gee nony, I thought Max went overboard on Bush coverage yesterday. I tend to look at Asa's pile of cash the same way I do when they show a big drug bust on TV. All that money...all that money that could be used for something important.

Instead it will go to media weasels for ads that won't do Asa any good. Good money chasin after bad as Granny would say.

Asa! raising a crapload of money was on the blog Anon.
Pay attention.
I think Woody's ad is pretty good. Hits home to lots of people who cannot afford health insurance.

Woody seems okay to me...I wish I could vote for him...

Big oil welfare and our horrible health care are great issues for the Dems and I'm so glad to see them picking up on it.

I loooved Woody's ad. I think he's going to garner alot of attention. I will be going to bat for him in my little neck of the woods. Everyone loves an underdog and I think he can do it. He's raised a substantial amount of money and not a single event has gone by that he hasn't been here shaking hands and meeting the voters. Now that's my kind of candidate!

Amen, bro. I'd actually forgotten about this race, and am glad to see such a good ad. Wouldn't it be amazing if he won? This'll be fun to watch on election night.

"Give 'em HELL, Woody!"

This race is going to keep tightening up and we are going to see a sweep come November. Here's what I say :

Woody Anderson 52%
John Boozman 48%

UPSET OF THE YEAR for TIME and everyone else. Anyone us feel squirrelly to guess percentages?

HAH!!!

I'm in the NW, and it looks like I'm voting for Woody, hands down.

No WAY I'm voting for Boozman. Everytime I have contacted him about an issue, he gives the same runaround BS.
