And the attendance was ...

Yes, he's praised Mike Beebe effusively. Yes, A$a would tear down his praiseworthy school initiatives. But, Gov. Mike Huckabee insists, he really, really, really supports A$a for governor. The Democrat-Gazette drew these remarks from The Huckster in an interview yesterday. Read it free by copying and pasting the link below:

We wonder what the majority Democratic legislature thinks about Huckabee's comments in the article taking credit for all the programs it passed. They were just followers to his leadership, The Huckster suggests. He jumped in front of their parade is more like it.

But never mind that. We need more info from loyal opposition reader Citizen Journal. The D-G article said 50 people were on hand for a fund-raiser at which The Huckster appeared for A$a. Were there more than two fund-raisers yesterday? Or was this the gunapalooza reputedly attended by hordes of  "sportsmen"? Could be a few (hundred thousand) hunters are voting for Mike, ya think?

Comments

Seth Blomely in the ADG this morning reported there were approximately 50 people in attendance at the event.

Apparently, no one much wants to be seen in public with either Huckabee or Hutchinson until this election is over. Beebe, on the other hand, would draw a crowd of hundreds or more.

Beebe would draw a crowd of hundreds of faggots who want to adopt innocent children.

Arturo, get you head from up your ass and breathe some clean air for a while. When Beebe becomes Governor, there'll be plenty of it to go around, not that we won't need it after Asa gets through polluting the airwaves with his slash and burn swiftboat campaign. Man, you must really need a life.

I'm sorry, I meant to address my 11:33 posting to "ArTURDo." ( A recent poster gave him that moniker and I think it fits him best.)

Go ahead and let Arturo post all he wants. Everything he says, every point he makes is a sure Beebe vote-getter.

I can't figure out what makes folks turn out like Arturo. Were they frightened by a Democrat in their youth? Do they really think there is a place for the mediocre in government? Are they impressed by people who take a hard line against other American citizens? I just can't say.

But history shows even Hitler had a lot of supporters in the end, when his true colors were known to all, when everything he touched had turned to failure. Humans are funny creatures, scientists still don't understand why some of us kiss the hand that beats us.

Looks like Art and 30% of the population are going to ride the torture loving Republican horse all the way into hell. All I can say is, it sucks to be them.

Wow, Farturo...classy comment.

Just like your boss, A$A! and your cronies from the Anonymous Desk have continued to display...

You pretty much summed up A$A!s platform...congratulations...I'll save that comment for later...

What is the point? Every candidacy will be different even if they are of the same party and they will have different plans. So Huckabee has worked with Beebe in the past, You are forgeting that a Republican Governor had to deal with a largely Democratic legislature so deals had to be struck, compromises had to be made to get things done. That's how government works. In Fact Huckabee spoke of this at the event, im not suprised the article in the Gazette fails to mention this part of the speach. Instead they spoke of the differences between the two.

Just for the record...would The Citizens Journal please state it's position on this statement so I may better understand policy...

Yea and the really funny thing Art-Turd
is that the Log Cabin Republicans would be there with their fangs hanging out, maybe led by Mark Foley.
Cheer it on wacko.
