I don't know, but he's on of the most underappreciated actors in in the business. Wish I'd seen him.

Just watched "All That Jazz" again on cable and once again wondered how the nimrods in the Academy didn't vote him an Oscar. What a great movie and actor.

Come on people...obviously he was assisiting in the testing and evauation of a new "black" helicopter for the spying on and control of unknowing masses like us. What better place to test it than flyover country. The last test in LA was a failure and they made a movie of it.

Was on a LR bound plane with him about a month ago. He comes in for treatment at UAMS. Very gracious man. Let's hope the good folks at UAMS heal Roy.

He is under Barlogie's care at UAMS. (Multiple Myeloma). I met Roy and his wife Brenda (and their daughter) when my dad had surgery at UAMS in early June. I have talked with them since and understand that they are very pleased with both UAMS and the positive reponse to the treatments. Roy said he had undergone a bone-marrow transplant last summer at Kettering in NY. (And that he was his own donor through havested stem cells.) Very pleasant people.

Roy Scheider was in LR to hook up with those heavy-breasted blondes that John McCain was running around with. Who would ever suspect a national figure to be playing hide the sausage in such an out of the way place as Little Rock.
Seriously, Roy Scheider is a fantastic actor. That he hasn't starred in more movies the last 20 years is our loss. I certainly wish him all the luck in the world fighting his cancer. Man.....what an actor!

Yeah I thought we were talkin' about Rob Schneider, too.
I just looked up his filmography. The only things I recognized in a very long career were: Third Watch, SNL, Jaws, and Naked Lunch.
I'm sure that says something very definate about my charachter that probably isn't good....

Actually Schneider is here due to a movie now in production. It's a super secret remake of JAWS except this version will be based on a fresh water fish namely one of the few remaining big gar in the Arkansas River. The plot goes something like this, bass fishermen have been disappearing and their bass boats found drifting. Sounds like a sure fire hit.
