Expanding our blogosphere

It's been slower than I'd have liked (all my fault), but the Times today finally adds a couple of new reader blogs to our blog page. Many more are planned -- at least are in the process of being set up for web activation. For no particular reason, these two are the first:

The Moviegoer:  BSR is a Little Rock guy who loves everything about movies, including talking about them. He has a bunch of posts ups already and invites reader input.

Ninja Poodles Local: This is our own version of an existing blog begun by Belinda Hankins Miller, self-described as "a married, harried working mother in rural Central Arkansas."

Check 'em out. And let them hear from you.

We have other blogs in the works on history, the law, Northwest Arkansas, defense issues and more.

Comments

Max,

Don't you think Greasy Creek belongs in this community, too?

Sam

Thanks for the intro and welcome. I'm enjoying the movie blog so far (still can't make the comments go through, though), and hope that I will have some relevant or entertaining things to say.

As far as my current situation, my "working," at least outside the home, is severely limited to nonexistent until after I have some surgery scheduled at the end of this month. Hey--maybe we'll have live-blogging from the recovery room! Better call and see if they have a WAP at the hospital...

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and hope that people will find something to enjoy and to participate in via comments.

ARK. BLOGA note to Belinda and other readers of the new blog. Supposedly the controls have been altered and any comments submitted on posts after the control change -- certainly from this point forward -- should automatically post. We will have open posting on the new blogs unless and until the abusers come out and then we'll evaluate registration there.

Max,

I get to the AT blog from arktimes.com. Where, besides this post, can I find the links to these two additional blogs?

Thanks, L&P

ARK. BLOGNear the top of our home page, immediately to the right of the part that says home, it says "blog." click it and you get a page with all our blogs. Thanks for askikng. Meanwhile, here's the link:
