Meet the candidates
Brummett today provides some anecdotes on statewide candidates, along with a report on his tennis match with Gunner DeLay. I've yet to find a candidate to throw a discus with.

While we are on politics a heads up! Texas just lost one of their political jewels -- Ann Richards.
Her passing will lay heavy on Texas, America, common folks! A great spokeswoman for modern day common sense politics a rarity thee days especially for Texas.
Perhaps Cindy Sheehan's recent move to Crawford shows that God/Buddha works in mysterious ways. She want be able to fill the void/chasm left by Ann but it's a start and hope.

We seem to be lossing a lot of good ones lately and the bad ones just keep hanging on so it's encouraging to know that no one gets out alive.

I am tired of Rod Bryan and his whining. While at first i thought he was interesting he now has become a pesky annoyance.

Thanks for exercising your first amendment right Vincent! Now if you could just get the Democrats, Republicans the Arkansas Corporate Media to help you out, perhaps we could make a first attempt at democracy.

Amen! Rod's wanting to debate the candidates in this race is just plain pathetic. Who cares if money buys silence... who wants to hear what the fringe thinks anyway?
What's next? A bunch of "nobodies" whining about the 4th Amendment? What's the big deal if a few inappropriate searches are made, phones are tapped, citizens are randomly frisked? I agree VV, Rod Bryan just needs to get over his (and our) so-called "rights."
