More politics

A$a says Beebe should pull ads saying he'll eliminate the grocery tax because he's said -- properly -- that it wouldn't be prudent to promise to eliminate it all at one whack on the back of a surplus that might include non-recurring revenue.

Max, would agree that Beebe's advertising is deceptive on this issue?

Max, wouldn;t you agree that Beebe's advertising is deceptive on this issue?

As much as I'd love to see sales tax dropped from groceries, I fully expect to wake up with big breasts and a full compliment of female organs before the day of tax-less groceries arrives in the state of Arkansas.

Why do they have wings and where do they fly you to each month???

Beebe should spend his time attacking A$a.

Take one heaping cup of hypocrisy for sanctioning family adultery while unmercifully attacking the President. Add in using governmental connections to become a rich lobbyist. Then bake with extreme incompetence in Homeland Security and voila'!

I don't care what Beebe has done, he's pure as the driven snow compared to A$a.

Desperate moves from a desperate? Whatever!

Beebe got caught (again) being dishonest.

"Beebe got caught (again) being dishonest."

Not at all. Mike Beebe laid out his position at the Conway debate. Very clear. There are mandates on spending
thanks to feds. That is what Beebe should harp upon. Unfunded mandates that must be met.
Arkansas' constitution requires a balance, no deficit spending which is difficult if not impossible for a BIG GOVERNMENT REPUBLICAN like Asaid to grasp.
If Asaid eliminates food taxes and Ark has enough of a shortfall so that it cannot meet its mandates which taxes will Asaid raise first?
He can't do the Bush trick and go to China or Japan for financing. Which
taxes would he raise in the event of a budget shortfall? We had just a few short years ago and Huckabee had to raise taxes.
