10 dumbest in Congress
Radar compiled this list. No, no member of the Arkansas delegation made it. But it contains some memorable stuff. (Don't miss the Donald Young entry.) Bushie's gal, Katherine Harris, who did a heckuva job for him in 2000, tops the list. Or maybe bottoms it is more like it.

I wonder if Zell Miller would've made this list if he were still in Congress... Hey that reminds me - didn't Clint Reed promise us a Zell visit a few months ago?

Mark Pryor may not be on the list, but I'll never vote for him again after his vote to pass the bill that legalizes torture and suspends habeas corpus, the Military Commisions Act of 2006.

Isn't it interesting that ony three of the ten mentioned were Democrats? I might have included: Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel, Mike Ross, Barnie Frank, John Conyers, Robert Byrd, Harry Reid, Teddy Kennedy and Richard Durbin, to name just a few.

Well then I'll have to add these stellar Reps. and Sens...
Mark "Rollie" Foley
Denny "Duck & Cover" Hastert
Rick "WMD" Santorum
Bob "Go Directly to Jail" Ney
Ted "Fingers" Stevens
Don "The Strangler" Sherwood
Curt "Gimme Contracts" Weldon
...to name a VERY few...
Again, I can't wait until November 7th...

Square....I'm with you.
Hank. It's the "dumbest." Ted Kennedy is dumb? Rangel and Byrd are dumb? You have a different yardstick to measure folks by than most.

To Hank,
6 and 4 would have been closer to actual balance by party.
You suggest 8 Dems which would have been vary slanted. (eleven out of ten?).
That seems to be the slanted view.
Since 4/6 would be the closest to actual, either 3/7 or 5/5 would not be against the odds to greatly. But your 8/2 would indicate quite a bias.
I was a little surprised to see the "amount" of balance there was.
Latley ( last couple elections) seem to be more blatantly slanted.

I think kathleen harris is THE poster person for Florida politics;
early onset of senility
too many facelifts
double silicone implants (& that just in her brain!)
daddy's deep pockets
3 campaign mgrs quit
Can you imagine what being next to her in heavy traffic would be like when she's 65?

Ms. Harris, the wicked witch of the East, finally gets her recognition for assisting in the bloodless coup of the most powerful office in the world.
Maybe there is some justice.

At the risk of seeming unkind, my idea of justice for Ms Harris would be to drop her over Iraq at 30,000 feet without a parachute.
2768 US troops have died in Iraq thanks to her help in stealing the 2000 election for Bush-Cheney. I really doubt losing an election is adequate punishment for what she helped unleash on the world.
