Government of oil, by oil, for oil

Another day, another expose on special Bush administration treatment of Big Oil.

Comments

You know, I haven't seen Death of a President yet, but it sounds like the feel-good hit of the year.

The Bush Admin. certainly intends to "stay the course" where Big Oil is concerned. Our country is dedicated to keeping us on the oil teat until the world supplies finally dry up and every last oil dollar has been made that can be made.

Britain yesterday, in contrast, gave a major endorsement to spending the needed money now to slow global warming and cut back CO2 emissions caused by use of fossil fuels. They realize prevention now is much cheaper than cleanup later.

Here we go again. Our country is the world's bad boy and I'm really sick of it. As Bill Maher says, America loves to repeat, "we're the greatest." It's a shame we don't act like we are.

How many of y'all think prices at the pump will go back up Nov. 8 and keep climbing?

Welcome to the United State of Exxon! Or in this case Chevron. Helen Keller could see what's going on here. That must have been one hell of a big secret meeting in Cheney's office a few years ago.

Remember this when you vote November 7th. Add it to the 684 other crooked lying insider deals the Bush-Cheney administration has pulled in the last 6 years. We are not the greatest country in the world any more....we're a laughing stock. And it doesn't feel very good to me. Book'em Dano!
