Hastert is toast

Bank on it. Or enjoy the gaping political wound.

Comments

You can bet Drudge, Hannity, O'Reilly and Limbum are already beating out the tom-tom message that Fordham is a gay al Qaeda terrist.

Come to think of it, Dubb may already have designated Fordham an enemy combatant and ordered him held without charge or access to a lawyer until after the election.

Where will it go from here?

Bush, Cheney and Rove are pros at their control of Congress. Not a lot goes on there they don't know about and sanction.

The Grand Old Pedophile party.

Do I smell a new mantra?

"took place long before the e-mail scandal broke

investigation into a scandal rocking Republicans five

struggling to put the scandal behind them"

The biggest story came over the radio a few minutes ago, as I came back to comp room.
The Republican pages were warned to stay away from Foley, but not the Democratic pages!

I just caught the end of the story. Anyone else hear the entire thing?

At work I have C-SPAN (House of Representatives) going all day at my desk. In the last 2 years I've been watching it, I've only seen Hastert in the Speaker's chair twice during daylight hours. Once was for the going away speech by Delay and the other time was early one morning when the substitute he'd designated for the day hadn't shown up yet.

The political blog Wonkette speculates that the ousted Rep. Mark Foley is setting up shop at a Scientology rehab clinic in Clearwater, Florida.

Maybe all those years as a wrestling coach made him immune to close body contact between men [and boys]!?

Don't you just love this.

Of all the pertinent issues that were diverted and overwelmed by issues like flag burning and gay marriage, this one sticks like duct tape.

This should be a non issue but when your enemy's head is on fire, don't offer any water.

Don't you love to see sanctimonius holy rollers get theirs?

Ah yes.

Unfortunately, they don't see themselves as hypocrites at all. They presume to speak for God, then use His (their) words to defend a sick bag of garbage like Foley.

Crooks and hypocrites. They should be driven from the temple of democracy (Congress).

Yes! Yes! Out, you cursed democrats!

Oh.. oops. Never mind . . .

This Foley story just keeps getting worse.
I don't know if Hastert handled this properly or not, as there is conflicting information.
BUT, do you guys think that the White House was given this information?
My bet is that the answer is yes.

From all the GOP rhetoric one would never realize the FACT that:

98% of molested males and 99.6% of molested girls are victims of HETEROsexuals.

http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/cgi/reprint/94/1/41

THE THREE TRUTHS
1. Bears shit in the woods.
2. Hobos want donuts.
3. Bush causes terrorism. (9-26-06)

98% of molested males and 99.6% of molested girls are victims of HETEROsexuals.

Just some of the 'minor' truths that are being ignored by the gay bashers (and TV is full of em). Speaking of...Pat Buchanan argued that 'gayness' was the root of this debauchery...conveniently ignoring all the heterosexual DC scandals through the years (and all the other facts).
