Just in time for Christmas
Order The Huckster's presidental exploratory book. For a title, Gov. Mike Huckabee couldn't resist a Hope reference (even if his home county did go for the Democrat in his last electoral start).

There will never be but one man from Hope, and that would by William Jefferson Clinton.

Right, Clinton who was there about a third of the time of Huckabee. I am not saying that Clinton wasn't from there but to suggest that Huckabee wasn't is a bit much. Again, your petty hatred blinds you from the truth.
ARK. BLOG James, you miss the point. It's only the lack of originality in using Hope, not a debate over who spent more time there. Now that you mention it, perhaps the current governor's longer time in Hope explains his poor electoral performance there.

Maybe it should be titled The Second Coming from Hope? That's the only way our boy Mike might benefit from it.
Well, maybe not -- cost of the book is about $20, or $14 from Amazon. Wonder what Huck's cut is? Keep writin', boy. Mortgage payments come ever' month and washed up politicians don't attract much in the way of slush funds.
My $14? Think hubby and I will splurge at McDonald's for lunch. A daily dose of fatty sediment headed to our bellies and arteries is much less dangerous for us than yet another repugnant in high office.

Is Huck's new book about politics or about AA? The phrase "12 steps" always makes me want a stiff drink.
You have to ask yourself, if Huck is so full of ideas of ways to make America great, why hasn't he used them to pull Arkansas out of 49th? Sure, Clinton managed to make that jump, but lightening won't be striking twice. I'd recommend Huck move to Florida and run for Governor while Jeb hides in the closet. He might have a chance there.
But those of you with extra money laying around be sure and send it to Huck's PAC, now that he's thin, he'll live in retirement for many many years and need every PAC-penny he can get.

I can't help but wonder who wrote the book for him. Must be a neo-con ghost writers wet dream to be hooked up with the Huck

The Huckster couldn't get re-elected as governor if he could run. He needs to find himself some useful employment and forget the Prez fantasy.

Sellerfelller - Never underestimate the resiliency of a politician nor the short memory of a voter. Mr. Clinton was counted out after his miscues on more than one occasion and he is still wrapped up in his fantasy . . .

Oh My! Why didn't he use a skinny photo? That one on the front of his new blub, excuse me, book, looks like it was taken ten years ago! There are many who are up Huck's ---, who actually think he will get somewhere near Washington. How sad for them!

Huckabee could win again and that is why Beebe waited until he couldn't run again. Huckabee is in the top tier for Republican candidates and he could take it all the way. I will be pulling for him as you know, but so will many others.

Gotta give James an A for effort. No matter how it looks to everyone else, James still sees that silk purse, though it is 100 lbs lighter than it was.
Maybe Jennings will give James a suit someday if he just keeps cheering for the Huckster.
